One of the first weekends that people were allowed to go surfing or visiting beach areas others than for exercise. Practically the entire P&O and Cunard cruise ship fleets are now anchored in the Weymouth Bay – although they come and go, to keep the generators going. Repatriation procedures for the crew back to India were supposed to have taken place with the Ventura making the long journey, although that ship is still going to and fro between Weymouth and Southampton.
